We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Procurement and Warehouse Officer to join Energicity DBA Starlight Energy Liberia Limited. This position will help support the growth of our market development, operations, engineering, construction, and support teams to bring our electrification services to more than 100,000 customers in several African countries over the next 5 years. JOB TITLE: Procurement and Warehouse Officer
LOCATION: Gbarpolu County, Monrovia-Liberia
JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse and Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing warehouse operations and supporting procurement activities. The role ensures effective stock management, timely sourcing of materials, and compliance with company policies to support smooth project execution.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct supervision of the Finance Controller, she/he is expected to perform the following tasks:
Procurement
- Support procurement activities by sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers and service providers.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of approved suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and approval requirements.
Warehouse Management
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate, current inventory records and stock registers.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
- Ensure proper labelling, handling, and secure storage of all materials.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety, security, and loss-prevention measures;
- Perform other duties as required by his/her supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualification required: Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office tools (Word and Excel) and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in procurement, warehousing, or supply chain management.
